Prayer and party time: February 18th

Prayer and Party 2017

As a church, and as churches across the Woodfield Team, our focus this year will be on developing prayer and partying in our walk with Jesus. Indeed the Archbishop of Canterbury has issued a call to prayer across all the churches of the Church of England. Our own bishop is taking the lead on helping us to become praying churches.  So there are many exciting things on the way.

At St John's, we're having a special time of prayer on Saturday  February 18th bewteen 11 am and 12 noon. The focus of the prayer will be the sale of the church hall, and the need for that to happen; together with the re-ordering of the church building. We will be praying to God and seeking to hear from Him as to the way ahead. The time of prayer will be followed with a bnring and share lunch so do come.

St John's can party well - see photos below for an earlier fish and chip lunch
