Ready Steady Stick: how it went in February

Ready Steady Stick in February - how it went

What does go on at Ready Steady Stick? Well, here's a glimpse from the February session written by our children's worker, Ceriann Kelly"

"On Tuesday 13th February we had 27 children attend our Ready Steady Stick event, most of the children had an adult stay with them so it was a lovely family atmosphere. We had a very busy afternoon, during which we sang some lively songs and even the parents joined in! The story we looked at was Zacchaeus which was acted out by some of the volunteers, and it got quite a few giggles. We then had a drink and biscuit before getting down to some serious crafting, felt finger puppets, biscuit decorating and a lovely painted hand print tree were just a few of the crafts on offer. We rounded off the afternoon with some games to burn of the last bit of energy before heading home. It really was a fantastic session that seemed to brighten up the day despite the poor weather."
