Heritage on your doorstep: September 5th -20th

Hello Heritage: 5th -20th September

'Heritage on your doorstep' is an initiative headed up by North West Leicester District Council. Physically opening heritage buildungs right now isn't possible. So watch out instead for over 50 heritage boards will be popping up across the district and South Derbyshire pointing out places of heritage interest and importance in our towns and villages. The boards will be situated in various locations and include heritage information and photos. Local residents and visitors will be able to view the boards whilst walking around our towns and villages, as well as being able to enjoy the boards online.

When you are out and about walking, cycling or popping to the shops you might learn more about the heritage on your doorstep. Look out for the boards.
