Woodfield Forest Church

Woodfield Forest Church

Forest Church has now been running in the team for just over a year, meeting regularly at the rear of St Laurence Church in Measham. Rain or shine we meet and explore something of the wonder of creation and the creator.

In October we celebrated the changing seasons and the glory of autumn colours whilst we talked about what we can do as individuals to protect, preserve and renew creation at a time when the environment is feeling very fragile. Gathering leaves of gold and bronze we made autumn crowns, a reminder that as children of God we are all princes and princesses of the kingdom of heaven, and with that comes responsibility.

When we stop to listen to each other, we have so much joint wisdom, have you ever washed your clothes with conkers? Sounds daft, but someone shared that they had and it worked, even made bubbles in the washing machine!

Our next forest church is 3pm on 1st December, where we will be looking to the stars as we begin an ADVENT-ure, why not come along experience for yourself this different way of being church, outdoors, together.
