Welcome to St John's Donisthorpe
The parish of St John's, Donisthorpe includes the communities of Donisthorpe, much of Moira, Oakthorpe, Stretton-en-le-Field and Acresford. We are involved in many aspects of community life and offer a warm welcome to all our events and services.
St John's is one of the eight churches of the Woodfield Team of churches, covering the area for North-West Leicestershire from Normanton itself down to Norton-juxta-Twycross, and from Moira on the Derbyshire border across to Swepstone. Much of this area lies within the National Forest. We see ourselves as on a journey discovering the love of Jesus. Come and join us on the journey!
