Safeguarding of adults
The safeguarding of vulnerable adults is taken very seriously by the church. It is of significant importance and we recognize the contribution we can make to protect and support vulnerable adults. The PCC has adopted the safeguarding policy of the Diocese of Leicester. The model policy can be found at http://www.leicester.anglican.org/diocese-office/children-young-people/adult-safeguarding/ That page also gives details of the diocesan safeguarding officer along with other contact details in the event that you need them.
