I would just like to update you on project “Heart” as we continue the work on the transformation of St John’s Church. We enter the New Year very positively, because although things might have seemed quiet, a great deal of work has been going on behind the scenes and we are now in a position to start to apply for grants.

We have produced a brochure which explains exactly what “Heart” is and how the transformation will allow St John’s to be at the heart of our community and provide a multi-purpose, adaptable, flexible, comfortable space for the use of all.

We also have a Facebook page for the project. On the Facebook page is a link to a questionnaire so that we can get feedback about the project. We also have two videos about the project, one about what it will mean to the community and the other a walk through the changes by Peter Rogan the architect. I have included links to all of these here so that you can have a look at them.

We are now very excited to be able to go forward and apply for funds in order to enable the work to progress, and a huge thank you for all the hard work of everyone involved so far.

There is also the opportunity to get more involved, so do get in touch if you would like to know more. One way that you might want to be involved is to pledge a donation towards the project, so please do get in touch for a pledge form if this is something that you might want to do. The money will only be collected when all funds have been raised and the project is due to start.
